Meet the team
We're Keanna and Louise. We started as two aspiring writers spending our weekends helping fellow authors turn their ideas into reality, and grew into a team of designers, marketers and assistants who love books as much as you do.
For a long time, everything we did was about helping authors get it done. Then we noticed authors don't just need strategy, they need confidence. So alongside the done-for-you work, we teach, including three sessions at Author Nation 2025.

How do I even begin to explain what the team at The Book Prose mean to me? One sentence: they're helping, every single day, to save my career. I know, that's a big claim, right? But it's 100% true.
I've been an indie author since 2019, and although I've had my share of successes (thank you, TikTok), I just couldn't keep juggling all the responsibilities that come with this business. To be brutally honest, I'm the worst marketer when it comes to promoting my own work, and instead of growing, I found myself shrinking. Worse still, I let it happen.
That's when The Book Prose stepped in. It started with TikTok management because I simply couldn't tie myself to the platform and still write anything new. Plus, my sensitivity to criticism (and boy, does TikTok have critics) kept me playing small. One day, during a chat with Keanna, I shared how overwhelmed I was feeling. That's when she mentioned that her team offers an entire range of services, from ads management to social media, newsletters, even online store setup. They created a clear, practical plan for my author business and immediately put it into motion.
It was incredible watching them revamp my profiles, re-engage my newsletter subscribers, and brainstorm fresh ideas for growth and brand recognition. Suddenly, all I had to focus on was writing. Plus, I had cheerleaders in my corner, ready to lovingly kick my ass when I strayed off track.
Now, I see so many possibilities for my future as an author, all because The Book Prose made sure it happened. My only regret? That I didn't find them sooner.

I'm thankful to Louise and the rest of the Book Prose team for helping me maximize the hooks in one of my books. I'd already had hooks written that I'd been using on TikTok but did not have the time or brainpower to mix them up or reword them as the algorithm often likes for you to do.
I was not expecting Louise to be so thorough with each and every hook, giving me a multitude of hook titles, catchy first slide wordings, and so many options to reword and shake up my slideshows. With what she provided me with, I am set for keeping my slideshows fresh for quite some time. It was a huge load off my plate and I'm glad I enlisted their services!
It's been very easy working with Keanna. She's excellent at communicating and keeps up a steady rate of posting. Results of the posts themselves have been mixed, but that's mostly because TikTok was a complete disaster in November and December 2023 - for everybody. Dozens of authors with their own personal PAs, or who post by themselves, talked about how horrible everything was in the Facebook chats I frequent.
However, one of the posts that Keanna did for me hit 240K+, which is 140K more than any post I've ever had on my own personal accounts. I calculated that the 3- or 4-day increase in sales on my series covered my fees for hiring her for 2 months, so it was a good investment - AND I didn't have to deal with any of the stress of Community Violations that plagued TikTok in Nov and Dec. Plus, it freed up a lot of my own personal time.
